Redefining Comfort and Stability
Starting from a clear vision to improve upon a previous generation that felt bulky and unreliable, this project focused on rethinking both architecture and user experience. Through deep user research and product teardown, we identified key pain points—particularly discomfort, instability, and components protruding from the ear.
Working cross-functionally, I helped define a new internal architecture that strategically redistributed components deeper into the ear’s natural geometry. This enabled a more compact form factor while improving balance and fit. I led the refinement of the exterior form and ergonomic details, resulting in a design that feels stable, lightweight, and intuitive during movement.
The final product established a new benchmark for sports earbuds—delivering all-day comfort, secure fit, and a visually integrated form that aligns performance with simplicity.
